Prosecutor trainee (1959-1960); junior assistant, assistant, lecturer, reader and, since 1991, professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest; PhD scientific adviser at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest; member of the Commission for the Elaboration of the Electoral Law of 1990; member of the Parliamentary Commission for drafting the project of the Romanian Constitution (1990-1991)and member of the Commission for the revision of the Romanian Constitution (2002-2003); member of the Senate of the University of Bucharest He published textbooks, courses and monographs, as well as research studies on Constitutional Law. He organized a Centre for Constitutional Law and Political Institutions, at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest, benefiting from a scientific collaboration with a similar centre of the University Paris I- Sorbonne.
